The why behind gypsea wellness

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Chelsea's journey in nursing started at the bedside in large hospitals in a variety of acute care settings. Her experience in acute care inspired her. She pursued her Master's degree and obtained board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, with one goal in mind: to help people live healthier lives before they reach the point of crisis. 

She transitioned into a role that brought her into the world of hormone replacement therapy. She quickly discovered the incredible impact she could have in this field of preventative/integrative medicine. After sitting  face-to-face with hundreds of perimenopausal and menopausal women navigating confusing, often overwhelming changes in their health and identity, it became evident that women were  being left in the dust in midlife.

She heard hundreds of women - say things like, “I don’t feel like myself", or "I don't know who I am anymore" with tears in their eyes and complete transparency about the toll symptoms were taking daily-- And she also witnessed firsthand the life-changing transformation that happens when hormones are restored and patients feel seen, heard, and well again.

Years later, the research continues to back what she has seen in practice: hormone therapy can be a powerful tool for long-term health and quality of life. Her passion for this field only grows, and her mission at Gypsea Wellness is simple — to bring personalized, integrative care to our community, and to give patients the tools they need to live their best, most vibrant life.
